Privacy Policy

The short version

Savina is designed so that the extremely personal things you write — journal entries, chat messages, urge drafts — belong to you. They are never public, never sold, and never shown to other users. You can delete your data at any time.

What we collect

  • Account information (name, email) when you sign up.
  • Your onboarding answers, recovery goal, daily check-ins, journal entries, chat history, and urge-event records — the data that powers your personal progress.
  • Anonymous analytics events (e.g. "onboarding completed") used to improve the product. We do not send the text of your journal entries, messages, or chats as analytics properties.

How AI processing works

When you use features like "Talk to Savina", "Should I Reply?", or journal analysis, the text you choose to submit is sent to an AI provider for processing. We send only what is needed for that feature, and we do not sell it or use it to train models. We also run safety checks on submitted text so we can guide you to appropriate help when you express a crisis.

Your controls

  • Delete Account: permanently removes your account and data.
  • Delete My Data: wipes your personal content while keeping the account.
  • Email us anytime to ask what we hold.

Not medical data

Savina is not a healthcare service. We do not store or handle your information as protected health information under HIPAA. Please treat the app as a private journaling and support tool, not as a medical record.
